Ray wanted a classic fit not overly western. He picked a granite grey cattleman crown with a curved wide profile brim.
Gus
Mia opted for a soft gus crown with an slight curved brim. She added a black and ivory horse hair band accented by brown and camel feathers. A perfect neutral palette to top off any outfit.
Maggie
Laura feel in love with the american blue relaxed cowboy brim with the rounded fedora crown. Adding the peacock and dotted pheasant feathers with the brown braided band made it perfectly hers.
Ferd
Justin opted for a classic cattelman crown with relaxed taco brim in chocolate brown. He added the feather, burnt edge joker card and horsehair braided band that spoke to his love of poker.
Lizzy
Kendall struggled with going with a full cowboy hat or more of a fedora that she felt offered more wearable options.
We took a fedora and gave it a shape that floats between both those styles.
Making the fedora have a cowboy inspired brim gave her that flexibility of wearable options.
We steamed a twist in the top of the front crown to give it that more custom fun feel she wanted.
Kendal chose a soft washed ribbon and fabric to trim it out and give it that feminine feel.

Kelly wanted something to wear to her son's college football game. She choose a beautiful wine classic fedora crown and flat brim. She accented it with a leather band with silver buckle, added black, brown and metallic gold feathers to tie in the school colors.
Gambler
Joanie loves a good black hat. She had a trip planned to Las Vegas and wanted a hat to work with all of her outfit. She choose a round drifter crown with a low curved brim. Adding the braided black leather band and festive feathers completed her look.
Mia
Robyn wanted a simple straw fedora crown with flat brim. She accented it with turquoise and brown feathers with the braided horsehair band to appeal to her love of earth tone colors.

Lilly wanted a urban hipster hat with feminine appeal. We started with a mushroom colored fedora, shaped the crown into stove top shape and added subtle curve to the brim. The velvet and linen bands accented with mini silver beading along with a white feather completed the look.

Logan wanted a classic cattleman crown with a low taco brim. The pecan color worked perfect for his busy lifestyle.

We’re two friends who turned a shared obsession into a craft. Together, we believe hats aren’t just an accessory—they’re a statement, a story, and a piece of tradition worth wearing proudly.
Anne
Design has always been about creating something that feels personal something that reflects who you are before you ever say a word. I’ve spent more than 25 years in apparel and textile design, working across men’s and women’s collections for golf, resort, and lifestyle brands such as Tehama, Ahead, Fish Hippie, Southern Proper, and Coast. I bring that same care and attention to every hat we make at Harvey Martin. My background taught me that great design lives in the details—the curve of a brim, the texture of a band, the way a hat can quietly change how you carry yourself. When Julianne and I started working together, I instantly felt that shared passion for craftsmanship and meaning. We’re both drawn to the idea that a hat can connect people—to heritage, to confidence, and to a little everyday magic.
Julianne
I grew up with cowboy hats, lots of cowboy hats! My brothers wore cowboy hats; my dad wore a cowboy hat. My grandfather wore a cowboy hat when he settled our family ranch just south of the Pecos River in Reeves county of West Texas in 1906. The cowboy hat I remember was commonplace. It was removed by gentlemen when entering a room. It was removed when greeting a lady. It was removed for the National Anthem or a prayer. These men were not just
cowboys but true gentlemen. I am proud to see that today many people who do not know what it is like to be a true cowboy, still wish to emulate this truly American symbol of the old west. I will
always be a Cowgirl at heart just as my family heritage is part of the old west in the rugged land of West Texas. The cowboy hat is a statement, make it count! For me, hats are more than style—they’re an instant mood boost and a connection to something timeless. I’m the one traveling with a hat backpack packed with two or three options (yes, it’s a thing), always ready to match my hat to the day’s adventure.
